With theaters starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel regarding the pandemic, now is a great time to support the arts.
–An online trivia night will be the focus of the Templeton PAC Foundation’s upcoming fundraiser on Saturday, April 17, at 7 p.m. Gather your team or join one during the event and prepare to show off your knowledge in a wide variety of trivia categories. The night will include popcorn, cotton candy, and discount tickets at the Raconteur Room in Atascadero.
This lively evening, which aims to attract everyone from mid-teens to the well-seasoned crowd, begins with participants purchasing their tickets for $5 per person on the TPACF website at templetonPACfoundation.org. You can plan your own foursome or opt to be placed on a team when the event begins. Pick up your popcorn, cotton candy, and Raconteur Room discount tickets at Eikhof Design Group in Atascadero from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. the evening of the event, Saturday, April 17.
The virtual two-hour event follows at 7 p.m., with our newest TPACF board member and event emcee Carson Ogburn (Templeton High School Class of 2017) presenting questions to teams. Team members then enter virtual breakout rooms with a brief amount of time to discuss and determine their response. The team with the most correct responses at the end of the evening wins prizes.
Proceeds from the fundraiser go to the TPAC’s general fund and will be put toward necessary maintenance and improvement projects for the facility. Current projects include lighting upgrades to the TPAC and new dressing rooms.
